On 20 May, we held an online debate on the topic of the title between two teams who had to defend opposing ideas on the subject. Each team consisted of four students, one from each school, who worked together on the topic during the two weeks prior to the debate. A jury was also formed, consisting of a teacher and four other students, who scored the performances of the members of the two teams.
The debate was moderated by a student from the Czech school who had experience in this type of activity.
The experience was highly motivating and was rated as very interesting, and the teachers expressed their interest in carrying it out in the future in their classrooms.

The team defending the positions against the ban on fossil fuels was the winner of the debate with a total score of 349 out of 324, but the highest scoring student was the Portuguese Tomás Boaventura defending the positions in favour of the measure
